5 Star Shine Sucks

I purchased the 5 Star Shine paint protection system and received a tiny, tiny bottle of chemical with which to cover my Toyota Tundra double cab. The bottle looks much bigger on their website than in real life, it's about the size of an acne medicine botle prescribed to my son, a few ounces. It was quite a job spreading the chemical thin enough to cover the entire vehicle. After the ordeal of 'waxing' my vehicle with the compound, when I washed the vehicle, instead of being slick I could barely keep the paint from 'grabbing' the rag right out of my hands while trying to soap the truck up. The paint was the exact opposite of slick, it was like it had 'teeth'.

Needless to say, I was thoroughly disappointed in both the quantity and quality of the product. I sent 5 Star Technologies, Inc. a request for my money back or another application of the product. I never heard from anyone, despite sending three more requests over a two week period of time. I called once and was put on hold so long that I finally hung up the phone and vowed to tell about my experience.

I would not buy the 5 Star Shine paint protection system again, nor do I believe their claim of "satisfaction guaranteed", they just ignored my request for a refund.
