I have a sneaking suspicion that BigLocal.Com is somehow related to Reliable Listing Services, which is an internet outfit who claim to be able to place you at the Number 1 position on Google searches. Everybody knows that Reliable Listing Services sucks. BigLocal.Com called me several times on the phone explaining how they help get websites ranked on search engines.

It just so happens that I have optimized a page or two for Google rankings with good to excellent success (Google toyota sucks, durand toyota and nancy pelosi sucks).

You can accomplish what they charge $19.99, $99 or $179.99 per month for free. You don't even need to buy a book unless you just want to, all the information you need is freely available on the internet.

Don't be a sucker for BigLocal.Com or Reliable Listing Services overpriced and underpowered offering. Personally I think the two companies are somehow related, they offer the same services and market the same way. They both even solicit their sales teams in the same manner, by advertising on CraigsList.

Telemarketers are bad enough. Telemarketers that ignore the national Do Not Call Registry, which is about every telemarketer in business, suck. What part of don't call me any more do they not understand?

BigLocal.Com, also known as Big Local, LLC Sucks. Their website is www.biglocal.com and the number they called me from is (801) 386-7636, which shows no identifying information on the caller ID.

Based on my experience, the man pitching their services was being deceptive and dishonest about both their services and their abilities. There is absolutely no way to guarantee any locality for search engine placement on Google. If you rank number 1 on Google for a specific search term in San Francisco you'll still rate the same for that term in Washington state. There is no SEO method to localize a specific search term to appear in a particular city or state on Google. Don't take my word for it, call Google and ask them.

BigLocal.Com Sucks. Big Local, LLC Sucks. Telemarketers Suck. Telemarketing Sucks. Companies that ignore the National Do Not Call List Sucks.

BigLocal.Com can take my number off their call list, and so can their Registered Agent in the State of Utah, Phillip Hansen. Phillip Hansen sucks, too, for being associated with an unscrupulous telemarketer.
