Workers at Tyson Foods’ poultry processing plant in Shelbyville will no longer have a paid day off on Labor Day, but will instead take the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr in the fall. In addition to the observance of the Muslim holiday, two prayer rooms have been created to allow Muslim workers to pray twice a day and return to work without leaving the plant.
Perhaps Tyson has forgotten that only a few short years ago Islamic extremists killed several thousand of our countrymen. Also, Tyson doesn't build similar Christian prayer areas for their Christian employees. Any American company that shows a preference to the hateful and murderous Islam religion should be boycotted.
I personally will never purchase another Tyson product and urge any and all Americans to boycott Tyson Foods, Inc.
