Who Sucks? - Accountable America Sucks

Accountable America
Washington, DC

Accountable America, yet another far left liberal organization aimed at stamping out freedom of speech, sucks.

Democrats are such hypocrites it is not easy to keep up with their constant bombardment on basic freedoms, such as freedom of speech and the freedom to support your chosen political party.

Accountable America, an organization that can only be described as ultra-left winged, mailed out an untold number of letters to prospective Republican campaign donors. These letters threaten the donor with many dire consequences for donating money or otherwise supporting unspecified Republican functions. The threats run the range from complaints being filed with the IRS to lodging complaints with the Federal Electiions Commission.

Apparently Democrats only believe in freedom of speech for their own party. That's always been the case, actually, but now people can actually see for themselves which party represents a real threat to civil and persoanl liberties.

Accountable America has contradictory information on its 'About Us' page. It first claims to be non-political by stating:

"Accountable America is a non-partisan, non-profit corporation. We do not seek to elect or defeat candidates or endorse candidates for federal office."

A few sentences later you find the following statement regarding the founder of Accountable America:

"Tom Matzzie is founder and chairman of Accountable America. Tom has worked in progressive politics for more than a decade—with MoveOn.org, the AFL-CIO, the Campaign for America's Future and campaigns at the presidential and statewide level. At MoveOn, he created ground-breaking campaigns on corruption and the war in Iraq that set the stage for the 2006 Democratic takeover. The MoveOn 2006 election program successfully targeted for defeat 29 out of 36 Republicans. The Politico wrote that the intensity of Tom's campaigning, "rattled the entire Republican caucus." The New York Times Magazine said of his work on Iraq that they are to progressives, "…what the NRA is to the Right." Tom was named one of the "Forty Under Forty to Watch" by Washingtonian Magazine for his role as a leader in the emerging new politics. In addition to his campaign experience, Tom is an expert in Internet fundraising which will power Accountable America."

Apparently, the message of the day from Accountable America is that, while it's okay for ultra-left wing liberal organizations to bash Republicans at every level, threaten Republican sponsors and manipulate elections to the greatest degree possible, it is not okay for Republicans to even donate funds to the Republican party or to engage in any campaign activity whatsoever.

Welcome to the modern liberal Democrat, ensuring that the very definition of 'hypocrite' is alive and well. View an actual letter below.
